Adding solar to your home or business is a great way to reduce energy costs.
You can receive a feed-in tariff (FiT) applied as a credit on your bill for extra electricity sent back to the grid from your rooftop solar system.
FiTs apply to residential and business customers who:
- have a solar photovoltaic (PV) system less than 30kVA
- have a smart meter
- consume less than 750 MWh per year.
When you receive a FiT from us, you are agreeing to the Jacana Energy Power Purchase Agreement.
New solar installations
For new solar installations, you should:
- have an approved connection agreement with Power and Water Corporation
- call us at 1800 522 262 and request for your meter to be set up correctly for solar.
