We know that at times it can be difficult to keep on top of bills. Jacana Energy’s financial support options give you the breathing space you need when finances are tight.

Payment extension

A payment extension may be provided for bills that are not yet overdue.

This can be up to 7 days for a monthly billing cycle, or 21 days for a quarterly billing cycle.

If you need more time to pay, you can request a payment plan.

Hardship / Stay Connected program

Our Stay Connected program helps keep your electricity supply connected when you are experiencing financial difficulties.

It is a confidential, respectful and supportive partnership. Whether you are going through financial hardship, domestic or family violence, or special circumstances, we'll work together to find the right financial support for your situation.

To be eligible, you must be:

  • experiencing financial difficulties
  • willing to enter a payment arrangement for your electricity account, even if only in small regular instalments
  • willing to work with Jacana Energy and support agencies to address financial issues if required.
