Northern Territory Retailer of Last Resort Scheme
The Retailer of Last Resort (RoLR) scheme is an arrangement to ensure continued electricity supply to customers in the event of retailer failure. Customers of failed retailers are automatically transferred to Jacana Energy as the ‘Retailer of Last Resort’.
The Utilities Commission is responsible for overseeing and initiating the RoLR scheme in the Northern Territory.

Customer accounts will be set up according to our Standard Retail Contract. Tariffs will be set according to the Electricity Pricing Order for regulated customers consuming less than 750 megawatt hours (MWh) per year.
