Electricity tariffs – Residential
Valid from 1 July 2026 to 30 June 2027.
The default plan for households where you get charged a flat rate for usage.
Multipurpose properties used for both residential and commercial purposes are also eligible for the Standard Residential plan.
Residential tariff threshold
From 1 July 2026, the residential tariff will apply to the first 164 kWh of electricity used each day, averaged over the billing period. Any usage above 164 kWh per day on average will be charged at a rate equal to the standard business tariff. This will only impact customers with a bill over $1500 per month.
